Marcell Ozuna, who missed the Atlanta Braves and hurried to the 2021 World Series title after he was put on semi-voluntary vacation for abusive behavior at the home episode, was captured early Friday morning for driving impaired, as per Gwinnett (Georgia) County records.
Ozuna, 31, was captured by police in Norcross for driving impaired/liquor and for a perilous path change. He was set up for an area prison at 4:39 a.m. and also, delivered not long after 8 a.m. in the wake of posting bond.
Ozuna consented to enter a pretrial redirection program after his May 2021 capture and resulting charges of battery and irritated attack by strangulation after police were gathered at his Sandy Springs, Georgia home.
